Meet Adam Sutton
I'm Adam Sutton, and I've been working with concrete for more than 17 years across the Sunshine Coast and beyond.
In that time, I've done everything from large-scale civil projects, including council crossovers, commercial hardstands, industrial flooring, to high-end residential work like pool surrounds, decorative driveways, and outdoor entertaining areas.
That experience has given me a clear understanding of what works, what doesn’t, and what it takes to build concrete that genuinely lasts.
Why I Started Ascrete
I started Ascrete Services because I wanted to do things differently.
Too many concreters treat residential work as “just a slab”, pour it quickly, smooth it off, and move on to the next job. But after years working on civil and commercial projects where precision is non-negotiable, I couldn’t approach residential work that way.
I bring those same rigorous standards to every driveway, patio, and outdoor space I build.
When you’re investing thousands into your property, you deserve someone who genuinely cares about getting the job done properly. Not just good enough - but done right.

We maintain comprehensive public liability and professional insurance coverage. This protects you and your property throughout the project. Insurance certificates are available upon request.

I started working in concrete in 2008 and have remained in the industry ever since. Over that time, I’ve gained hands-on experience across a wide range of projects, including:

How I Approach Every Project
Precision Over Speed
Quality concrete takes time. Proper preparation, careful forming, and patient finishing can’t be rushed. I'd rather take the time to do it right than cut corners to move faster.
Communication
I tell you what I see, what I recommend, and what it will cost. If there's a problem, I tell you early, not when it's too late to address. If your project isn't suitable for what you're asking, I'll say so rather than take your money and deliver a poor result.
Genuine Care
This might sound obvious, but I actually care about how your concrete turns out. Every project carries my name. When I drive past a driveway I poured years ago and it still looks great, that matters to me. Your concrete is a reflection of my work and reputation.
Reliability
I answer my phone, return messages, and show up when I say I will. If something changes, you’ll know about it before you have to ask. These basics shouldn’t be remarkable, but in the trades they often are.

I visit your property to assess the project properly. No guessing from photos. I need to see the site, understand the conditions, and discuss your requirements in person. Then I provide a detailed, written quote with transparent pricing.
Clear Communication
From quote to completion, you'll always know what's happening. I explain the process, provide realistic timelines, and keep you informed throughout. Questions are welcome at any stage.
Professional Execution
I arrive on schedule, set up properly, protect surrounding areas, and complete the work with careful attention to detail. You'll see the difference between professional execution and a rushed job.
Clean Handover
When the project is complete, I’ll clean up the site and walk you through the finished result. I’ll explain curing times, share care recommendations, and answer any questions before I leave.
Ongoing Support
If you have concrete questions after the project, call me. I'm happy to advise on maintenance, sealing timing, or any concerns that arise. Your project doesn't end when I leave the site.
